Hint Locations

Hints are only obtainable one at a time. Receiving hints lowers your sanity. The order you may obtain hints are outlined below:

1. Bookcases
2. Coat rack
3. Armoire
4. Phonograph
5. Cat

Hints give you a maximum of two letters that have not been solved. You may back away from the choice if you decide you do not want the hint.

End Conditions

There are 6 endings. Endings correspond to your sanity. In order to get all the endings, you will need to end the game with...

• 5 sanity / 0 hints
• 4 sanity / 1 hint
• 3 sanity / 2 hints
• 2 sanity / 3 hints
• 1 sanity / 4 hints
• 0 sanity / 5 hints

While ending the game with full sanity is perhaps the most pleasant, I hope you try to get the other endings as well.
