The Doldrums

Fueling the pteridomania of the Victorian era, you've made a living traveling to different islands and collecting various species of fern. On one such trip, you find a mysterious map with directions scratched on the back that seemingly lead to treasure...

The Doldrums is a game of orienteering set on a strange jungle island.
- Move north, south, east, or west to explore...
- Use landmarks to determine your place on the map...
- Decipher the directions to find the treasure's location...
- Get to the correct spot in as few steps as possible...
- You've only got one shot at digging!
There are 6 endings to discover and each run is randomly generated. Expected playtime is a few minutes per run, depending on the map

Cool concept! Although I'm not sure "fake landmarks" is a fun gameplay element, I enjoyed the eerie vibes of the art and music, and racking my brain for a bit. Keep it up!
